Coorg Cuisine at its best @ The Coorg Food Co, Kalyan Nagar

Located next to BMTC’s Hennur Depot, under the newly constructed Hennur Road Flyover is a cozy, Coorg restaurant with a homely feel. It is run by a lovely couple Pavith and Pavitha Ponnappa. We received a warm welcome and some lip-smacking food.

The Ambience

A restaurant that makes you remember the grandmother’s home that we visited as children, this has a few jars of spices neatly tucked away in a corner, a few wooden tables and benches instead of chairs (Some tables do have chairs for the chaired folk). Located on the second floor, it is easily accessible by lift. The one thing unique, that you notice upon reaching this place is that it says “Coorg Food Co” on one side and has a KA-12 Open board on the other, to symbolize the KSTA regn. number of KA-12 allocated to the Coorg Dist.
