Kings would surrender their kingdoms just to drown in her food and her intoxicating wine. King Idris was one of them who fell for her and he wanted her to be his forever. But she, being a wanderer did not stay. She would never belong anywhere or to anyone. She roamed the shores of the Mediterranean, through the marbled palaces and dusty market places, through ancient souks and orange groves.
Her wanderings brought her to Ruh, where her magic still dwells. It’s here in the food that delights, the ambience that’s like a warm embrace and the service that’ll make you feel at home.

When entering, you need to utter the magical words “Khul Jaa, Sim Sim” – taken from Ali Baba and the 40 thieves.
There are 3 sections. A sections with low level furniture to give you the feel of the Arabian environment. Another section is for families or groups to sit. That section also has a swing. The third is an interesting section for a private couple. With rose petals that shower from the ceiling to floating candles to a special menu – This has it all to woo someone special.
Popcorn Chowder Soup – A cream soup with popcorn chunks in it. Tasted ok.
Roasted Tomato Soup – A spicy soup with Roasted tomato base that tasted awesome. Finished the whole bowl alone.
Garlic Mushrooms in White Wine sauce – Sauteed Mushroom and Garlic in their House White Wine
Garlic bread and smoked cheese – Garlic bread topped with Smoked Cheese
Chaat Platter – A platter of 3 types of Chaat – Bhel Puri, Sev Puri and Pani Puri accompanied by Pani, Chutney and Curd.
Herb omlette – An omlette topped with a herb paste
Prawns infused in garlic olive oil – Prawns infused in Olive Oil
Murgh malai kabab – Came presented in a nice copper jar. Tasted well too.
Murgh HariMirchWalla – Was a little spicy.
Theekhi macchi tawa walli – Spicy masala marinated basa fish fillet.

Dal makhani – The usual Dal Makhani
Ruh special chicken steak sizzler – Chicken Steak Sizzler, Chef’s special.
Palak murgh – A spinach preparation of Chicken.
Murgh rara – A chicken variant of the famous Rara Murg with a beautifully woven story around it’s origins.
Malabar meen curry (fish) – This was a cashew based curry, tasted great.
Chocolate Bomb: A chocolate dome filled with Darsaan. And hot chocolate sauce poured on it.
Baklava: The middle eastern delicacy that is made with puff pastry sheets layered alternatively with crushed dry fruits. The best version of this dessert I ever had.
